The artist, Elaine C. Geall endeavours to keep personal data safe and secure as possible. Personal data given (email, postal address, etc. ) will NEVER be misused or given to third parties. For further information on privacy, please see privacy page.
All images on this website (of drawings, paintings, photographs, etc.) are copyright of Elaine C Geall.
As the artist, Elaine C. Geall retains the copyright to all works commissioned to her by the collector or collectors, created by herself, including all reproduction rights and the right to claim statutory copyright. No artwork may be reproduced or altered without the written consent from Elaine C. Geall.
Following mutual agreement between artist and client(s), a 50% deposit (this is non-refundable) of the agreed selling fee must be paid up front before work commences. The balance will be due upon the artwork's completion.
Currently there is no on-line shopping function on this website, therefore a Paypal invoice will be forwarded to the client / purchaser by the artist. Please see their own privacy policies and terms and conditions for specific information on how Paypal handle contact and transaction details. It may be necessary to contact other financial institutions in the event of a problem with a members payment or concerns relating to fraud prevention.
Alternatively, payments may be made by cheque. Cheques to be made to the artist 'Elaine C. Geall'.
UK deliveries: To reduce risk of damage in transit, all artworks are packed securely and appropriately by the artist prior to despatch. Purchases of original artworks will be sent using Royal Mail 1st or 2nd Class Sign-For, Recorded or Special Delivery services. The client / purchaser will be notified which of these it will be, prior to purchase.
Overseas Deliveries: Additional charges will incur for artwork shipped overseas. Airmail and Airsure are most frequently used services. Difference between them; Airmail is uninsured, and Airsure is tracked and insured.
Purchase price will only be given if the artwork has been damaged in transit. If your artwork has been damaged in transit, please contact the artist within 24 hours of receipt of damaged artwork so the artist can email you a copy of Proof of Postage. You the customer, will then be solely responsible for seeking compensation from the appropriate Postal Service.
NB: custom-made / commissioned artworks are non-refundable, as they cannot be resold.
Undelivered or Damaged Goods:
If you the client / purchaser have not received your order within a reasonable time period, please contact the artist.
The artist can then email a copy of the Proof of Postage or the receipt from the Post Office / Courier. After which you the client / purchaser will need to obtain and complete a claim form for the fore mentioned goods. In first instance, the courier or postal service is responsible for the delivery of the order and therefore it is them, you must initiate all inquiries and claims.
You the client / purchaser must report all problems regarding your order within 24 hours of receipt. The artist will endeavour to make better any problems customers may encounter.
